ALDER VALLEY is overcoming driver problems encountered by crews driving older vehicles in the fleet without pewer-steering by fitting Autosteer airoperated power-steering.
A trial installation on a sixyear-old Bristol VRT was well-received so the system is to be fitted to a further 22 VRTs in the fleet. Autosteer air-operated power-steering is manufactured by Autosteer Controls Ltd of Yeadon, Yorkshire.
