L'XETER'S attractive new bus and coach station (first Buses will load head-on at 18 departure bays and the equivalent of two bays is provided opposite the parcels office for the use of Devon General or traders' parcel vans. Facing the passenger concourse is an inquiry office and waiting room and there are comprehensive facilities for passengers and staff. These include a parcels and left-luggage office, a staff canteen and a cashing-up room for conductors, while the site also accommodates a shop and cafeteria.
The coach station will provide con venient connecting facilities between long-distance express services such as those of Royal Blue, Associated Motorways and Yelloways and the more local services of Devon Gineral and Exeter Joint Transport. Greenslades Tours ltd. will start their local tours and British and Continental holiday tours [ruin the. new station, whose coach park has room for 72 vehicles.
