FOR failing to return identity certificates to the Licensing Authority. after a carrier's licence had been revoked, Mr. Sidney G. Claydon of London. N.W,8, was fined £5 and ordered to pay 15 Ss. costs at Clerkenwell Magistrates Court on Monday. Mr, Claydon did no[ appear in Court.

W.1, said Mr. Claydon, of Claydon Transport Services, had been issued with an A licence in May, 1963, which covered him up to 1966., He had sent a lettei. returning the licence, after if was .1-evoked. and said he would return the discs in a few days' time. He had not done so.
In January of this year, and again in March, letters had been sent to him, but the discs had yet to be returned.
