Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• London Transport stated this week that "behind the scenes" visits by the public to bus and Underground installations, which have proved increasingly popular in previous years, are again being arranged during this summer.

Eight Underground and bus centres are on this year's list, and visits will be taking place from July until October. For bus enthusiasts there will be visits to Aldenham works, where the overhaul of bodies and chassis is carried out, and to the busmen's training centre at Chiswick, where demonstrations will be given on the famous "skid patch".

Applications to take part in any of these visits should be sent to London Transport's public relations officer at 55 Broadway, SW1H ORD. As in past years, it has been necessary to fix a minimum age limit of 15.

Each visit lasts two hours, and the limit on the size of the parties will vary from 12 to 25. The dates are:— Aldenham Bus Works (13.45 hours), Thursdays, July 8 and 29, August 26 and September 16.

Chiswick Training Centre and "skid patch" (14.00 hours), Tuesdays, July 6 and 27, August 24, September 14 and October 5.
