Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

PO Box 7, High Wycombe, Bucks. THERE are three models of air-powered A sanders produced by this company. Two models bearing the designations PK3 and FK4A, and weighing respectively 8.25 lb. and 13 lb. form several types by virtue of the fact that spindle speeds can be governed. The PK3A is offered with speeds of 4,500, 6,500 and 8,500 r.p.m., whilst the PK4A is available with spindle speeds of 3,500 and 6,000 r.p.m.

The machines are claimed to produce high power compared with their exceptionally light weight, whilst air consumption is reasonable at 38 c.f.m. for the PK3A and 50 c.f.m. for the PK4A. Both machines incorporate rotary vane motors and the attachments are mounted directly on to the shaft. Air connections are 0.5 in. b.s.p., and attachments for grinding, sanding and polishing as well as a number of other uses are available.

The third machine is a multi-purpose tool and is supplied complete with a number of accessories in a handy, all-metal carrying case measuring 18 by 7.5 by 2.75 in. A spindle speed of 1,500 r.p.m. is obtained with an air consumption of 11 c.f.m. at 80 p.s.i.
