After being used as a coolant in the freezer, the L.P.G. is used as a fuel by the vehicle engine, and if tests are successful it is stated that the new vehicle
will be suitable for transporting meat, vegetables, fish, milk and ice-cream.
Details were given on page 62 of our September 20 issue of a similar type of refrigeration system developed in Holland by Mr. A. Eggink, of the Landi-Hartog company, this equipment having been installed in an Opel Blitz van which was exhibited at the Frankfurt International Motor Show last month.
