• A fleet of nine lveco Stralis tractive units has entered operation with Sutton Coldfield-based distribution company AD Humpherson.
Supplied by local dealer Guest Trucks, the nine 6x2 mid-steer urns with rear air suspension join a fleet of 30 CVs and are fitted with the Active Space cabs in 'haulier' configuration for singe driver usage. Each vehicle is expected to cover around 160,000km/year and will remain on the fleet for three years. Iveco has also won favour with the AA, which has just taken delivery of 220 new 6.5-tonne CVO power-lift recovery vehicles based on the Daily 65C150 chassis, with a further 140 on order for delivery later this summer.
