On October 23, MAN-VW recalled 244 MT 6.90, 8.90, 8.136, and 9.136 vehicles numbered between WVM056000A0000001 and WVM06000A01558. Ford recalled 210 D-Series built from March 13 to 21, 1980, to check possible distortion or misalignment of the tilting cab torsion bars, which could result ' in a foul condition with the under-cab thermo plastic brake pipes.
And, on December 8, Bedford recalled 96 MOO-Series vehicles in the ranges from GW112070 to KW 100101 and from GW456049 to KW455278. They may suffer from lossening of the studs and nuts securing the steering third arm to the tracta joint housing.
