viction, enjoyed by Harvey Bros. (Transport), Ltd., Coningsby, Lines, was spoiled last week. The concern were fined a total of £36 at Boston after admitting that they had contravened the conditions of a B licence and failed to ensure that a driver kept proper records.
It was stated by the prosecution that the company were allowed to carry livestock within 50 miles and fatstock to abattoirs as. required, but that they had been seen carrying peas to King's Lynn.
Mr. G. K. Harvey, managing director. said that a traffic clerk had been under the impression that the licence covered "any goods as required."
The driver was fined a total of £8 on records offences, but eight. associated charges against the company were with
