A JOINT' meeting of the C.M.U.A. t""/ and A.R.O. will be held at the Regent Picture House, Queens Road. Brighton, at 2 p.m. next Tuesday, November-25. The main item on the agenda will be to explain the Government haulage scheme. The speakers will be Mr. Frank F. Fowler, a vicechairman of C.M.U.A., and Mr. D. Richardson, a vice-president of A.R.O. MR. JOHN RODGERS has been appointed Director of Post-war Planning in the Department of Ovefteas Trade. He will be principally concerned with the factual investigation of' the problems of United Kingdom export trade after the war.
