SOME concern was expressed at a recent meeting of the executive committee of the Liverpool Fish, Game and Poultry Merchants' Aasociation by a proposal of haulage concerns fo advance the rates for local work (station to market) from 331 per cent. to 45 per cent, on the pre-war rates. Owing to the drastic curtailment in the quantities of fish now being received, the increase was objected to. It is understood that thel proposed increase is in suspense for the time beinl.
