Pic Michelin Metallic and X tyres made at the Stoke-on-Trent factory have been reduced by 5 per cent. This concession has been made possible by the stabilization of prices of raw materials. The reductions apply to all tyres fitted to goods and passenger vehicles except light vans.
A set of seven Metallic tyres for a popular 5-ton lorry will cost £7 less than before. With an eight-wheeler the saving is about £17.
