The following arc the official returns of the paying attendances at the Commercial Vehicle Exhibition at Olympia, the comparable returns for the 1933 Show being given in parentheses:Thursday, November'7, 2,251 (2,402) ; Friday, November 8, 2,821 (3,327) ; Saturday, November 9, 13,102 (10,909) ; Monday, November 11, 5,824 (6,083) ; Tuesday, November 12, 6,389 (6,896) ; Wednesday, November 13, 8,287 (8,640) ; Thursday, November 14, 6,781 (8,615) ; Friday, November 15, 5,413 (6,021) ; Saturday, November 16, 13,335 (12,834).; total, 64,203 (65,727).
Although the total is slightly lower than that for two years ago, it is considered that the figures are very satisfactory, in view of the fact that certain important factors, including the General Election, had an influence upon them. It will be seen that, on each Saturday, this year's figures were appreciably higher than for similar days two years ago.
A.R.O. National Director Busy.
Mr. R. W. Sewill, national director of Associated Road Operators, addressed a meeting of the Eastbourne sub-area on Tuesday. To-day he is speaking at a meeting in the Isle of Wight, whilst from December 2-4 he is speaking at open meetings at Carmarthen, Swansea and Cardiff respectively.
