BBULC_;AR1A and Finland, as well as the United Kingdorn, are this year to join 13 other European countr;es in recognition of the Carnet T.I.R. document for international goods transport as a customs document replacing normal customs formalities, it was stated after
meeting in Munich of the International Road Transport Union.
Further steps are plarnied by 1.R.U, on the question of vehicles weights and measurements, the agreement signed last year by most of the member countries being considered by the Union as incomplete and only the first step in the fixing of international standards.
