AN UPSURGE in tourist traffic has prompted Coras Iompair Eireann to charter six Irish-built coaches from Britain for the summer season.
The long association between CIE and Doig's Tours of Glasgow led to the deal earlier this season, in which six Bedford YMT coaches with Dublin-assembled Van HoolMcArdle bodies were borrowed for summer tours duties.
