• Thorn Lighting's new halogen radiant heater is recommended by the manufacturer for use in such locations as warehouses and loading bays.
Each compact heater unit houses a 1500W linear tungsten halogen lamp which, when switched on, emits short-wave infra-red beams. As these pass through air with little absorption, only people and obstacles in the path of the beams are warmed. In-built precision reflectors allow heat to be directed where it is needed.
Lamp life is said to be over 5000 hours.
