Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Tanfield already produces a towing bracket for the "Car of the Year" Peugeot 405. This quick development came about through use of Tanfield's hydraulic test rig that can compress the normal life of a bracket into hours.

The resulting bracket carries the AA seal of Approval and conforms to British and International Safety Standards BS AU 114B and 1503853. It fits exactly the strengthened mounting points on the car.

"Unbelievably there are still brackets on the market made to fit convenient but wholly un suitable points on the car, leaving the motorist with a towing bracket that can be downright dangerous," says Tanfield's Richard Sununerfield.

The Peugeot bracket costs £57 inclusive of VAT.
