• Tuffnells Parcel Express has launched a free advisory service called Crisisline for companies planning what it describes as "the difficult, the odd and the urgent". Manager David Cassidy stresses that the service is "completely free" and uses "unbiased information on the best way to solve a delivery crisis". Hauliers consulting Crisisline will not be under any obligation to use Tuffnells.
According to the Sheffieldbased company: "Crisisline help calls can range from the normal to the bizarre, like the hand-couriered urn of ashes which was delivered to a customer in New Delhi for the contents to be scattered over the River Ganges."
To contact Crisisline, phone (051-548) 8777 from 08:0020:00, or 051-334 9046 or (0695) 27624 from 20:0008:00.
