AN increase in traffic receipts is shown in the latest figures issued by the British Transport Commission. For the four weeks ended November 6 receipts from London Transport's road passenger services amounted to £4,374,000 (against £4,328,000 for the similar period last year); London Transport's railway service receipts totalled £2.178,000 (against £1,923,000); Provincial and Scottish buses totalled £4,551,000 (against £4,398,000).
British Railways' total freight receipts for the four weeks were £26,704,000 (against £25,610,000).
