EIGHT bus companies in Shetland 1--A serving rural districts have asked Lerwick Corporation to return them to their original terminus on the sea front. Four years ago, when harbour work began, the operators moved to a new site provided by the council on the understanding that they would return to their old centre. They now found this was to be given to other operators.
The eight companies have told the council that the replacement terminus was unsatisfactory as it was away from the main shopping centre.
