At their annual dinner, held at Cardiff recently, the members of the South Wales and Monmouthshire division of the Motor Agents' Association, made a presentation to Mr. E. W. Garnon, London, the general secretary of the M.A.A., Great Britain, Ltd., and to Mrs. Garnon, in token of appreciation of the services of Mr. Garnon as divisional secretary dnring. a period of 16 years preceding -his recent appointment as general secretary tothe association.
Mr. R. Wellsteed, Newport, .the divisional chairman, made the presentation on behalf of East, 'West and Mid-Wales traders, and handed to' Mr.: Giiniona gold cigarette -case and illuminated ad, dress, and to Mrs. Carrion a suitably inscribed silver afternoon tea service. .
Reference to theservices of Mr. Garnon to South Wales .motor. traders and their organization was made in an address by Mr. John Chilton, of London, president of Councillor Bennett, of Nottingham, and Mr. L. W. Francis, of Pontardawe, to which Mr. Garnon responded.
