AN experimental one-man-operated 32-seat bus is to be placed in service by Bolton Transport Department. An existing rear-entrance vehicle has been converted. The entrance has
been transferred to a position just behind the front axle, and has been fitted with air-operated doors. Fixed to a desk at the driver's left hand are a normal ticket-issuing machine and a change-giving machine.
