The pros and cons of transhipment depots are to be discussed at a conference arranged by Guardian Business Services Ltd at the Skyline Hotel, London Airport, on March 19, A team of speakers drawn from local authorities and companies with national distribution fleets will consider
the problem from the town planning standpoint. European experience of currently working transhipment depots will also feature in the programme.
