FROM this Sunday the fourmonth ban on operating latenight local bus services in the Llandudno Junction area will be lifted by Crosville bus crews.
The ban, which was imposed after a number of drivers and conductors were abused and attacked, kept all buses in the area off the road from 10 pm.
Protection for crews will be provided by alarm systems installed in the buses, a change in services and an increase in the number of plain clothes and uniformed patrols by inspectors. The police will also implement their own "protection plans".
