SCOTTISH coachbuilder Walter Alexander has announced pre-tax profits of £2.76m for the year ended March 31, 1979.
This is 18.2 per cent above the previous year's figure of £2.34m. Turnover was up from £29.36m by 15.3 per cent to £33.85m. The company this year predicts further improvements from "virtually all activities" and the indications of the first three months support this.
