FIFE Regional Council is carrying out a major survey commercial traffic to help it plan its future lorry routes. TI survey will form part of a report to the Government on routeir recommendations.
Problems, including road geometry, will be looked at, ar there will also be an en route count of lorries. Drivers will I stopped and questioned on their destinations and routes. Results from the survey could range from advisory routes ft trucks to compulsory routes, with lorries banned from son areas.
