THE Bristol Omnibus Company are intensifying their efforts to provide popular period tours during the holiday months. Mr. A. D. Crook, traffic manager's department, told the Western Traffic Commissioners at Bristol last week that they already operated 250 such tours as a result of public demand.
The company was making an ,application for three ,additional picking up points on their express service between Bristol and Weymouth. from June to September, each Saturday, The chairman, Mr. S. W. Nelson, said it was in the public interest that the application should be granted, the only objection having been withdrawn.
