AMOVE by Samuel Taylor (Hay's Wharf) Ltd. from its Tower Bridge Road, London depot to new premises at Poolcs Lane, Ripple Road. Dagenham, has been partly caused by increasing traffic congestion in central London. The move is scheduled for the autumn.
The new site is near that occupied by an associate company in the Hay's Wharf group —Reynolds (Packaging) Ltd—which provides comprehensive export packing and storage facilities.
Another reason for the move is the increasing size of Samuel Taylor's fleet of vehicles.
More semi-low-loaders are being used and a 20-ton-capacity model has been ordered
from King Truck Equipinent Ltd. It is fitted with winch and skids, thereby dispensing with the need for cranage, and is capable of entering factories to move machinery in situ.
