BUSES are soon completely ha replace trams in Leeds, according to a Statement made last week lay Akl. J. Rafferty, chairman of the transport committee. He also said that a large bus garage was
84 to be built on the Seacroft estate, and that the tram depot at Headingley was to be converted to accommodate buses.
Aid. Rafferty claimed that the people of Leeds tavelled more cheaply by bus than those in any other municipality in the area, with the exception of Doncaster.
