allowed part of an appeal by Lowestoft Coaling Co. Ltd., permitting two B-licensed vehicles to carry pea haulm, but the Tribunal upheld the Eastern deputy Licens:ng Authority's refusal to add " seeds, fertilizers and grain" to the licence conditions.
The Tribunal also allowed an appeal by T. W. Bell (Belsay) Ltd. against a decision of the Northern deputy L.A. The president said a variation of a B licence would be allowed to permit haulage of agricultural produce and requisites, haulage for Northumberland County Council, plus machinery, livestock, and beer and spirits for Scottish and Newcastle Breweries.
