ADDRESSING Middlesbrough Rotary .Club, Sir John Maxwell, Northern Regional Transport Commissioner, said that the plan for using priority tickets for passenger road transport, had, on the whole worked well. He announced that plans were already being considered to deal with transport next winter, and added that the Commis. sioners were pushing ahead with the introduction of buses capable of carrying 30 standing passengers in addition to 36 seated.
