With reference to the discussion on LPG, Commercial Motor, March 12: (just received).
While the use of LPG by itself in a road vehicle engine is, at present, tax-free and legitimate there could be doubts about the legality of a dual-fuel system.
The incorporation of gas into a hydrocarbon oil is prohibited except in a refinery* and it might be argued that the induction system of a dual-fuel engine does, in fact, cause such incorporation of gas.
