" SAW-TOOTH ,,bays which can accommodate 17 buses simultaneously are a feature of Dublin's new bus station in Store Street, which is to be officially opened on October 19. The station consists of the basement, ground floor and mezzanine of a modern seven-story building situated beside the Amiens Street railway station.
Coras lompair Eireann state that all provincial routes served from the city will be concentrated at this point.
Operations will be directed from a raised control tower inside the building, and concealed amplifiers are fitted on all &ors.
Inquiry offices, cloakrooms and telephone facilities, as well as shops and kiosks, are situated on the ground floor. The mezzanine has a restaurant, public bar, snack bar and kitchens, whilst a news theatre with seating aecommodation for 220 persons has been constructed in the basement.
