NfiR. MARPLES this week refused to make it compulsory for a driver and an attendant to be on all vehicles carrying dangerous cargoes. When the suggestion was put to him in the Commons he said that it would be unreasonable to require this because the degree of danger depended on the quantity and type of load and how it was packed.
