There was real hope after the meetin that a workable agreement to improN industrial relations in the industry, t which both sides could subscribe, woul be worked out within the next tw months.
The discussion covered the respons bilities of supervisors; their selection an training and the chain of communicatio with higher levels of management; th role of shop stewards within a firi and their functions within the unio organization.
