its Sales Organization pIPORTANT events are happening in iconneetion with the Leyland sales organization, these including the opening of an office in London at Hanover House, Hanover Square, W.1, where, shortly, Mr. J. K. Denny will take up his headquarters as Southern Regional Manager, whilst, at present, Mr__ H. S. Ford and Mr. A. R. Hora are renewing contacts. It is hoped that it will be found possible to reopen regional offices at Birmingham for the Midland, Leeds for the North-Eastern, and Lincoln forthe Eastern Regions.
Leyland service depots are functioning at Glasgow, Liverpool, Chorley, Dudley, Kingston, Cardiff and Bristdl, as well as at the headquarters at Leyland. Agents' service depots are:— Abater Kirk and Co., Ltd., Belfast; Isles, Ltd., Leeds and Hull; Leyland Motors Agency, Nottingham; ,and W. Senior and Co., Ltd.. Manchester. Plans are also, being made _to open additional service depots. Many of the appointments are being held open until Leyland men in the Services are able to return.
The company has previously announced details of regional offices which are in process of reopening. They include those at. Winter's Buildings, 30, Ann Street, Manchester, 2, with Mr. C. W. Brown in charge; and IL. Adelaide Street, Belfast, with Mr. S. -Munn as manager. A few months ago the company took over anextensive depot at Salkeld Street, Glasgow, to which Mr. W. K. Shirlaw returned and took -on his duties as Regional Manager for Scotland, Mr, Allen, working from Leyland headquarters, has been tarrying out his duties as North-Western, Regional Manager.
