SPEAKING •at the annual general meeting of the Scottish Motor Trade Association, the retiring president, Mr. S. J. Hutcheson, enlarged on the points brought out in the annual report of the Association, and emphasized the various matters transacted by the Council during the year. Ile re
ferred to the sound financial position, and to the fact that the Associations capital, amounting to over £30,000, was invested in first-class Government securities. Mr. D. A. Fairley, C.A., was appointed general secretary.
