MUCH to our delight, we recently received an original Jubilee clip which had lain underwater on a World War ll aircraft for 31 years. Another one was supplied which had been buried for 33 years in the Hebrides.
Both these clips were in serviceable condition when found, and still operate freely.
This set us wondering if any of your readers know of other examples of this famous British product having withstood similar rough treatment? Could any clips have survived longer, perhaps in normal. conditions and can some of the original Jubilee clips, first made in 1922, be traced? Any information would be gratefully received.
