AN inquiry is being made into the use of vehicles by the 17,000 members of the Road Haulage Association. Last week they were sent questionnaire forms asking for details of their normal operations and fuel consumption, and for the amount of basic and supplementary rations they have so far received information is also sought about vehicles and workers affected by the shortage of fuel.
If figures submitted by, members reveal cases of difficulty or hardship, they will be examined locally, and, if necessary, taken up with the district transport officer and the Regional Transport Commissioner. If a satisfactory settlement cannot be reached, headquarters of the R.H.A. will take up the matter with the headquarters of the Ministry,
