WHEN an owner-driver appeared on VI' a speeding charge before Kidderminster Court last week he asked the Bench to take into consideration that driving the vehicle was his sole means for support.
The chairman: "That is all the more reason why you should exercise more care when you are driving it" Maurice Edward Oliver, 3 Dale Road, Hurst Green, Blackheath, Staffs, who was convicted of speeding for the third time in 12 months, was fined £20 and disqualified from driving for a year. He was alleged to have driven at 40-50 m.p.h. in a 20-m.p.h. vehicle.
