THE NUMBER of fatal industrial accidents notified to the Health and Safety executive in he second quarter of this year has risen over those for the first quarter.
In the first three months of he year, 126 were killed and 83,950 were injured, while this rose to 144 deaths and 85,794 injuries in the second quarter. Prosecutions rose from 383 to 402, while enforcement notices rose by 200.
