A N invitation is being extended to the
International Road Transport Union to hold its 1966 biennial congress in the United Kingdom. Announcing this, the Traders Road Transport Association said that the other British members of the MU, Road Haulage Association, Transport Holding Co., Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, and Passenger Vehicle Operators' Association, would, together with the T.R.T.A., be acting as hosts for the Congress.
This will be the first time that the TRU Congress has been held in the U.K. it will coincide with the period of presidency of the Union of Mr. K. C. Turner, president of. the T.R.T.A., and the first Briton to hold this office. Further details, including the dates and venue of the Congress, will be announced later.
