systems is to be made available by Park Bros. Ltd. at the end of this month: This prevents pedestrians and motorists being dazzled, but enables moving vehicles to be readily identified. Employing this system a vehicle can still be parked using sidelights only, but as soon as the ignition is turned on a headlight beam of one-tenth the normal intensity is dnitted. If the light is considered insufficient for driving, the headlights—either dipped or normal beam—can be turned on.
The unit has a special high-quality resistance treated with heat-resistant epoxy resin. It is pre-wired and is supplied complete with push-on type terminals to save fitting time. Full fitting instructions, a wiring diagram and details of the testing procedure are supplied with the unit, which is mounted on a compact Bakelite base. The complete kit comprises the basic unit, three yards of wire, a snap-on plug and connectors.
Initially a 12 V. model is to be marketed, but next month 6 and 24 V. units will also be available.
