co-operate with local authorities on Tyneside in an attempt to find a solution to the threatened destruction of city centres by traffic congestion.
The companies are Northern General Transport Co., Ltd.; United Automobile Services, Ltd., and the Gateshead and District Omnibus Company.
Newcastle City Council have asked the County Councils of Northumberland and Durham, as well as other local authorities and the bus companies, to appoint representatives to a study group which will eventually consist of 27 members.
