APRECISION . indexing attachment. for vertical or horizontal mounting, has recently been added to the range of equipment manufactured by W. H. Marley and Co., Ltd., New Southgate Works, 105, High Road, London, N.11. The rotatable nickel-iron centre is mounted on ,a having two lugs, which enable the component to be fixed to a machine table, angle plate, or lathe face-plate, according to the work 3,o he carried out. •
The upper 'pint of the base forms a split clamp, by which the centre can be locked, either at an index point or at an intermediate position. It will be noted from the illustration that the • device is designed to take collet Chticks. and these can be supplied in sizes rang' ing from in, to in. diameter, rising by 1-32 in.
; -The !standard index plate has 12 notches, providing for 2, 3, 4, 6, and 12 divisIons. The fitment is known as the MarlcolVlinot indexing attachment, and sells at £9 17s. 6d., avith collet mounting and table. The price of standard collets is 14s. 8d. each.
