LARGE contract A to B licence rt transfer request appears in the Metropolitan "As and IDs" in the form of an application by Hatter Bros., of West Thurrock, Grays (Essex), They seek to vary a current B licence by the addition of some 18 tankers, which, if granted, will be deleted from contract licences held with the Regent Oil Co., Ltd., and Fraser and White, Ltd.
In South Wales, R. Wynn and Sons, Ltd., of Newport, have applied to have a heavy articulated unit added to their A licence with the user "All goods Great Britain." The tractor and trailer each .weigh 25 tons unladen.
North Western hauliers will no doubt have regard to two applications in their area. N. Temple (Metal Merchants), Ltd., Altrineham, seek a new A licence for three vehicles with a wide user, and B.R.S. (Pickfords), Ltd., seek to switch three tankers to Liverpool from the Metropolitan Area.
