A PORTABLE gantry has been rA developed by N. Tamplin and Co., Ltd., Birdham, Chichester. Sussex, for use in conjunction with their bulk tanks. The design is robust and simple and the gantry can be dismantled easily.

Maximum load capacity of the unit is 2 tons and the model illustrated complete with two chain blocks and all equipment for lifting a container is priced at £71 10s. ex works. Castor wheels can be added as an option to make the gantry more mobile but the standard is flat-plate feet. Provided that the surface is level there is no need to bolt the units down.
