A SILVER-PLATED model of an r-1 Albion Reiver tanker has been presented by the Leyland Motor Corporation to the National Benzoic Co. Ltd. as the top award in a new competition covering National Benzole's tanker fleet. The competition is designed to further encourage safe driving and vehicle efficiency.
The trophy will be competed for annually by each of the National Bertzole's seven divisions, and will go to the division which has the best safe driving and vehicle maintenance record. The first winners of the Leyland Trophy are the company's Midland division, based at Birmingham.
