A T a Press conference last week details were given of the programme for the 1961-62 season of the London Centre of the Institute of Traffic Administracon. The season starts with a social evening on October 14 at the Streatham Constitutional Club and this is followed on November 7 by a talk by Mr. Ernest Davies on "Traffic Engineering in Practice."

On December 5 a Brains Trust is to be held, with Mr. A. E. Cooper, M.P. for Ilford South, Mr. T. Morris, transport manager of Chiswick Products, Ltd.. Mr. T. O'Leary, national secretary of the Transport and General Workers' Union, and Mr. G. Rogers, M.P. for North Kensington, on the panel.

The first of the 1962 meetings will be on January 2, when Mr. Fred Eastwood, industrial relations officer of the Express Dairy Co, (London), Ltd., will talk on " Merits of Incentive Schemes in Industry and Transport."

On February 6, Mr. Leo d'Erlanger, chairman of the Channel Tunnel Co., Ltd., will discuss the advantages of the tunnel. This will be followed on March 6 by the annual general meeting and a month later by the annual dinner and dance at St. Ermine's hotel.

On April 10 Mr. A. C. Ping, a Board Member of B.E.A., will give a talk on the " Relationship of Air Travel with Other Forms of Transport in the Future." The line meeting of the season will be a canal trip from "Little Venice" to Camden Locks and return.
