A NEW weekly trailer groupage service to Finland has been launched by international freight forwarders Thomas Meadows Ltd.
The service is being run in conjunction with Meadows Finnish partners OY Huolintakeskus. Using Meadows Manchester depot at the UK operating centre the service runs to Lahti, Tampere, Turku and Helsinki.
Customs clearance is at the licensed terminals of Houlintakeskus in each town. An additional feature of the service will be through delivery to the Finnish consignee, without transhipment, of all consignments of 3 tons or more.
